QloApps Redsys Payment Gateway

Make it easy for customers to pay for their rooms on purchases on your hotel website by using Spain’s largest payment provider. With QloApps Redsys Payment Gateway, you can securely accept online payments through debit or credit cards approved by your bank. The checkout process will be smooth and hassle-free, providing a seamless experience for your guests.

Additionally, Redsys offers an extra security feature called 3D secure authentication. This helps to protect your business and guests from possible fraud during card payments. With this extension, you can easily issue full or partial refunds directly from the QloApps’ back office. The refund function is useful for keeping customers happy and encouraging them to come back to your hotel.

The installation of any module is very simple in QloApps.

  • Go to the Module and Services tab
  • Click on Add New Module

Click on Choose a file and upload the zip file of the module.

After uploading the ZIP file the module will start installing automatically.

After the module is installed, the user can see the prompt for successful installation and the installed modules will be listed below.

In your QloApps backoffice, go to the Module and Services tab and search for your module. 

Here, in the Redsys payment configuration block, the admin needs to enter the following information: 

  • Transaction Environment: Select the Redsys payment environment either sandbox or production. You can get real transactions only on the production environment, for testing use only the sandbox environment.
  • Merchant Name: Enter the Merchant name of your Redsys account.
  • Merchant Code: Enter the Merchant ID of your Resys account.   
  • Terminal Number: Enter the Terminal Number that will be provided by your bank.
  • Secret Encryption Key: Enter the secret encryption key for your Redsys account. 
  • Payment Title: Enter the payment title for the Redsys payment. 

Note: For using Sandbox (Test) Environment you need to enter the following details:

  • Merchant Code: 999008881
  • Terminal Number: 001
  • Secret Encryption Key: sq7HjrUOBfKmC576ILgskD5srU870gJ7

To get the merchant code, terminal number, and secret encryption key, you need to visit the website http://www.redsys.es/en/. On that website, go to the section called “About us.” There, you will find a list of banks. You can contact one of these banks to get the information you need.

Scroll down to the bottom of the website’s page to see the list of banks.

During the booking of the room, at the checkout page, the Redsys Payment gateway option will be visible to your guests. 

When a customer chooses the “Redsys Payment Gateway” to pay for their room booking, they will be sent to the Redsys website. There, the customer can see the payment details and enter their card information to complete the payment.

Once the payment is confirmed, the payment successful option will be visible on Redsys’ website. 

And the continue button will redirect you to the order confirmation page. 

After installation, the module adds a new tab ‘Redsys Payment Gateway’.

Here, you can see the list of all the orders placed through Redsys payment gateway. 

Here, you can see the Redsys Transaction details: 

In the Refund transaction block, you can choose the refund type as: 

  • Full Refund: To refund the complete amount.
  • Partial Refund: Here, you choose the amount needed to refund. 

Note: If partial refund is selected, then a new field will be displayed where you can enter the refund amount. 

  • Refund Remark: Enter a remark for this refund. 

Once you have processed the refund, then a record for that refund gets create on “Redsys Transactions” page as shown below:

You can also view the refund details on the “Orders” page as shown below:
