QloApps News Tickers

QloApps news tickers is an add-on for QloApps.

It is horizontal, custom text-based, mostly seen as moving across your website to attract users attention.

You can use it to share new and important pieces of information with links among your website visitors.

You showcase major happenings to your visitors and customers on the top or bottom of the website.

• Add the News Ticker on the homepage or on all pages of the website.
• You can place the ticker at the top or bottom of the website page/ pages.
• Easily set the font size of the text display on the news ticker.
• Set the movement of the ticker from right to left or left to right.
• Set the movement speed of the text inside the ticker.
• Customize the font and background colour of the ticker.
• Add a link on the ticker and direct customer to new pages.
• Enable or disable to stop the ticker message on mouse hover.

Before you install QloApps News Tickers addon you must make a few changes in the core for the proper functioning of the module.

The step is very simple, you just have to replace the mention codes in the following paths.

At path hotelcommerce/themes/hotel-reservation-theme/footer.tpl

Add below hook code below line number 33 (may vary).

The installation of any module is very simple in QloApps.

• Go to the Module and Services tab.
• Click on Add New Module.

Now upload the Zip file of Module and click on Install.

Now You Have Installed The Module. So Let Us Check The Module Configuration.

After the configuration of the module, admin can add news ticker from the back-office.

Go to “News Ticker tab” and click on “Add new ticker”.

The admin can now configure the module as per the requirements.

First is to customize news ticker.

Next, you have to customize news ticker texts.

Click save to create your News Ticker.

Once News Ticker is created, the admin can check the changes made at the front end.

News Ticker when ticker position is set at the top.

When News Ticker when ticker position is set at bottom.

The admin will see changes made to the ticker message color and to the ticker background. Set the ticker’s font size as well.

The movement of the news ticker from right to left and left to right.
