QloApps Mercanet Payment Gateway

The QloApps Mercanet Payment Gateway Module helps property owners accept secure online payments through Mercanet for smooth and reliable hotel booking transactions.

This allows guests to complete bookings smoothly using various payment methods and debit card payment options such as CB, Visa, MasterCard, Electron, Maestro, VPay, and American Express. 

Whether you are managing a boutique hotel, a resort, or a multi-property business, this module helps ensure secure transactions, smooth checkout, and efficient payment processing for your guests.

During Mercanet account setup, property owners must predefine the payment currency, as it needs to be selected during account registration.

Installing the QloApps Mercanet Payment Gateway Module is quick and straightforward. Follow the steps below to get started:

• Go to the Modules and Services tab in your QloApps admin panel.
• Click on Add New Module.
• Click on Choose a file and upload the Mercanet Payment Gateway Module ZIP file.

• After uploading the ZIP file, the module will start installing automatically.

Once the installation is complete, you can configure the module settings and connect your Mercanet account to start accepting payments.

• To configure the Mercanet Payment Gateway in QloApps, follow the steps below:
• Go to the Modules and Services tab in your QloApps admin panel.
• Search for the Mercanet Payment Gateway Module.

Once the module appears, click on Configure.

Once you open the configuration panel, you will find multiple fields that need to be filled correctly to enable Mercanet payments.

The admin first needs to select the appropriate transaction environment for the configuration.

• Test Mode: For testing, select the sandbox.
• Production (Live Mode): For real-life transactions, select the production.

After selecting the environment, enter the required Mercanet configuration details to establish a secure payment connection:

• App ID: This is the unique application identifier provided by Mercanet for the selected environment.
• Secret Key: This key is used to authenticate and secure communication between QloApps and Mercanet.
• Key Version: This defines the version of the security key being used for payment authentication.

To integrate Mercanet with QloApps, the admin first needs to obtain the required credentials from the Mercanet documentation.

Steps to get test credentials:

Once the development of the connection to Mercanet is done, you can run a test on the Mercanet server. You will obtain the test credentials: Merchant ID, Secret Key, and Key Version.

Copy these test credentials and enter them into the Mercanet Payment Gateway configuration panel in QloApps.

Admins can easily track and manage all Mercanet transactions directly from the QloApps back office.

Steps to Access Transactions

• Log in to your QloApps admin panel.
• Navigate to the Mercanet Transactions tab.
• Click on Mercanet Transactions.

Once you open the transactions page, you will see a list of all payment records with the following details:

• Order Reference: Unique booking/order ID associated with the transaction.
• Mercanet ID: Unique payment ID generated for the transaction.
• Total Amount: Total amount paid by the customer.
• Customer: Name and email of the guest who made the booking.
• Status: Displays the payment status, such as Completed, Pending, or Failed.
• Order Date: Date and time when the transaction was completed.

When the admin clicks “View” on the Transactions page for a specific transaction, a detailed transaction page opens where complete payment information and refund options are available.

The detailed view displays complete transaction information, such as:

• Payment Environment: Indicates whether the transaction was made in Sandbox (Test) or Production (Live) mode.
• Mercanet Transaction ID: Unique transaction ID generated by Mercanet.
• Transaction Amount: Total amount paid by the customer.
• Order Reference: Unique booking reference ID in QloApps.
• Customer Name: Name of the guest who made the booking.
• Customer Email: Email address of the guest.
• Payment Status: Shows the current status of the payment.
• Payment Date: Date and time when the transaction was completed.

Admins can also process refunds directly from the transaction detail page under the Mercanet Transaction tab.

Refund Options

• Full Refund: Refund the complete transaction amount.
• Partial Refund: Admin can enter a specific amount to be refunded.
• Remark Field: Add a note (for example, cancellation reason).
• Process Refund Button: Initiates the refund request.

Once the refund is processed, a refund record will be created on the Mercanet Transactions page for tracking and transparency.

The QloApps Mercanet Payment Gateway ensures a smooth and secure checkout experience for guests booking rooms.

• The guest selects the desired room and booking dates and proceeds to the booking checkout page.
• The guest fills in the required details such as name, email, and contact information.
• The guest selects the Mercanet Payment Gateway from the available payment options.

The guest is redirected to the secure Mercanet payment page, where multiple payment options are available, such as Pay by Card and other supported payment methods.

If the guest selects Pay by Card, they can complete the payment using supported card networks such as CB, Visa, MasterCard, Electron, Maestro, VPay, or American Express.

Once the payment is completed successfully, the booking is confirmed and the payment status is updated in QloApps.
